We're closing in on our moving date. We're not very close, in terms of house remodeling and packing. Not sure what to do about that, except that I'm going to be reeaaaaaaallllllllllllyyyyyyyy busy the next week.
Emily had her preschool open house. Matt and I feel that she really needs preschool for the social aspect. I am having a really hard time with it. I know she needs it...but I don't want to let her go to school.
Fall is coming.

Tidbits
--The other day at the park Nathalie got into something gross. I had turned around for a minute and when I turned back around she was coming out of the bathroom with a urinal cake in her hand. Bleeehhhhh.
--We have bought our house and been working like mad. I have moved everything from our garage over to the house and conquered (for now) the yard (which took me many hours). Matt has been sanding like a wild fool as he's refinishing our wood floors. Seriously. Hours upon hours upon hours. We both have blisters all over hands. The sanding shoudl be done in the next day or two and now I'm starting to pack up the house.
-- Today is our 5th anniversary. We're hoping to go out to lunch today and then next week we're getting massages.
--Emily's birthday is on Sunday. I've been working into the wee hours of the night to finish her quilt, which I am now tying since my sewing machine is in the shop. I fought it for 2 hours and could never get a good stitch (tension issues) so I took it to the shop and should get it back in a week.
--One of my best friends moved this week. Not across the country, but still. Far enough away that I miss her.
--Charlotte can roll from front to back. She also put herself down for a nap yesterday. I tried it just now and she's not crying, she's cooing. So we'll see. At her 4 months appointment she was 13 lbs 8 oz (50% percentile) and 25 3/4 inches (95%+ percentile). She's by far my skinniest and longest baby. She has also started laughing when we tickle her which is SO ADORABLE. Sometimes I just stare at her for an hour because I want to eat her. Which I won't do of course, but I LOVE HAVING A BABY.
--Yesterday Nathalie (who all of a sudden decided to be a terrible two) threw a tantrum about diapers. I let her go naked a few minutes while I nursed Charlotte, but explained that if she was going to be naked, she had to go pee-pee in the potty. We've never tried potty-training her at all, so I wasn't sure what she'd do. But when I sat down on the couch to nurse, she walked into the bathroom, peed in the toilet then flushed! Holy hannah!! Might I get an easy potty-trainer?!!
--Emily starts school in a few weeks. I'm having a really hard time with it.
--Life is good.

A Super Weekend
We headed over to Indiana this last weekend to bless Charlotte. My dad was there for a highschool reunion and we thought it'd be a great opportunity to bless Charlotte. It was SO much fun! We really had a blast. Matt's parents came on Saturday and Sunday and my girls didn't know what to do with so many people to love.
Dad and Nathalie.

In a few weeks...
we won't have to worry about loud music from downstairs waking up our family.
we won't have to worry about the drug dealer next door.
we won't have to worry about our cars being hit on the street.
we won't have to worry about drunken brawls across the street.
we won't have to worry about sharing our backyard with someone.
we won't have to worry about musical beds to ensure everyone gets some sleep.
we won't have to worry about the girls running into the road.
we won't have to worry about outside noises being too loud.
we won't have to worry about feeling too cramped.
Because we're moving to a HOUSE!! That we are BUYING!!!
