Kittens!!!!
We went to a friend's house and they had some brand new kittens! Oh my goodness, my girls loved them. All of the girls wanted to bring home one of them, but they were too young to leave their mama. Which is good, because Matt hates cats...oh, but we loved them!

Shiner
Nathalie gave herself a sweet shiner the other day. We were at the store, I had just gotten something off the shelf and Nan was right behind me, asking lots of questions. Well, she tripped on my foot as she stepped forward. Unbeknownst to me, she had put her arms inside her dress so she look like her arms were really short.
Down she went, but because her arms were inside her dress, there was nothing to break the fall so she landed right on her cheekbone! Part of me felt bad because it really hurt, and the other part of me was laughing because it was so funny to turn around and see her on the floor with her arms in her dress! Of course I laughed.
I'm a terrible mother...

Candids
We are slowly figuring out how to do Nathalie's short hair. A few rubber bands and voila! Instant prettiness.
And here is her silly face.
I love this little schoolgirl dress! She looks so big!
Charlotte wanted to be fancy too...for about 20 seconds and then she took it out.

Working on it...
I have blog posts and pictures I'm working on. I got back from AZ last week, have a new intense calling at Church, leave soon for another trip and it's been a little crazy around here.
Promise I'm getting to it.

Somebody Graduated!!
Nathalie graduated from preschool! It was so funny, because the preschool made it a huge deal. But Nan had fun anyway, even while I was trying not to laugh. Don't you love this picture of her? It shows how excited she was. I can't stand how adorable she is.
And then I asked her to smile and she made this face.....
Nan attended a really great private preschool this year. I loved her teachers and it was so wonderful. These are all of their pre-kindergarten kids. They had the children walk down the main aisle to Pomp and Ceremony, while the preschool director read off their name and gave them an award. Nan was the "hardest working" in her class, which surprises me given her work ethic at home!

Finally a nice picture!

Charlotte had to get in on this fancy hat, of course! This was about the only time she was happy and cooperative all night. Oh well!
Matt and I did divide and conquer that night, because Emily had earned a free ticket to a minor league baseball game here in Savannah. Nan was sad Matt missed her graduation, until she saw the cake and ice cream they had after the ceremony......
Can't believe next year I will have two in school!
