My mom started a new tradition and sent us a "Christmas Eve Box". What a fun way to spend that day!
It had jammies for all the girls, coloring papers, "How The Grinch Stole Christmas", books and popcorn.
Charlotte loves these jammies and still wears them every night.
Emily loves Junie B. Jones.
Thanks Mom!

BABIES!
I have two types of adorable babies at house-- the almost-two-legged kind and the four-legged kind.
We have had a number of problems with getting our rabbits to breed since we moved to Georgia. First it was the heat, since excessive heat can render a buck temporarily sterile. Then we had several predator issues due to cats in the neighborhood. After a little bit of canned chicken laced with something special, we haven't had any cat problems.
And now we have babies! We originally had 11 babies, but one of our does was struggling with mastitis and ear mites. Due to stress, she couldn't feed all her babies and lost three. It was really sad.
We haven't had baby bunnies for a really long time and so we LOVE having them. So adorable!!!
As a sidenote, I got Matt to smile in a picture!

Beach in December? Yes, please!
We miss the snow, but oh man, do we love the beach. Even in December.
Lydia's first time crawling on the sand.
She wasn't sure about the grit.
Building a castle with a new friend.
Prettiest 6 yr old I know!
Panoramic of our beach!

"I love you Mis(s) Jeonafr (Jennifer)"
"Benjmin (Benjamin) I love you because I Nathalie I no (know) that I love you. Nathalie."
I love you. Love Nathalie. And Miss Kelly and I love you and turkey because I do no (know) I love you.
"I love you Gavin. It is from Nathalie."
(This is a for a friend in Ohio who we skyped and she was sad when we had to go.)
This girl amazes me! With the exception of a little spelling help for "because" she wrote these all by herself!
Singing, Singing
We had two fun Christmas concerts this December! One at Emily's school and one at Nan's.
Emily's school did a combined pre-K, K, and 1st grade concert. The funniest part was the kindergarten portion. They sang "Must Be Santa" and during the chorus had 4 pairs of kindergartener's (in brown) running in circles around the piano, pulling a wagon with "Santa" in it. Santa was another kindergartener and what made it SO funny was that the reindeer accidently cut the corner a little bit and Santa's wagon ran into the piano! All the adults gasped and all the kids cracked up.
So sweet and so proud!
Nathalie attends a private preschool and they did a really fun concert. Nathalie got to wear white robes and these shawl things? I don't know what they were. Can you see Nathalie wearing the green one in the above picture?
The kids did a great job. They had worked on it for a long time. Nathalie's favorite was "Go Tell It On A Mountain". I love that Christmas song and we sing it a lot!
It was so fun to see my girlies!

Crab Boil
Some new friends at church invited us over for a crab boil. The husband has lived in Savannah most of his life and they've lived here together for 14 years.
They got 2 bushels of live crab in nearby South Carolina. Then they dumped all the crabs into a huge pot filled with corn, potatoes and sausage. The crabs died, turned red and cooked in about 10 minutes.
We went to town!! Two hours and 13 people later, we still had about 4 gallon bags leftover and we got to take one home. I only got about 4 crabs before Lydia wouldn't le me pit her down, but Matt ate about 13 and our friend's dad ate 15-17!!!
It. was. delicious!
Warm
One of the things we are loving about Savannah is the beautiful winter weather. We sure miss the seasons, but I certainly don't complain that we get to play outside everyday!
One Saturday, we went out and played at a pak. It was probably 80 degrees.
I spy...an Emily!!
